Combined with the light action front shifter, HYPERDRIVE technology across all three chainrings ensures the chainset can achieve a high shifting performance under high loads. To make those gear changes, top-swing or down-swing front derailleurs provide three different cable routing options for compatibility with a wide number of frame designs. All three front derailleur designs provide wide clearance between frames, mud and chain guards and tires, so there is next-to-no chance of any interference.
